The introductory course focuses on building a foundational understanding of Neuro-Developmental Stimulation (NDS), its key concepts, and the proper identification of disorders resulting from persistent primary reflexes or poor integration of sensory functions. Participants will be introduced to basic tests for detecting persistent primary reflexes.

Course Content:
Introduction to Neuro-Developmental Stimulation (NDS) and its core principles
Everything is interconnected – primary reflexes, sensory integration, psychomotor development, learning, behaviour, and concentration
Risk factors for persistent primary reflexes
The importance of movement in the first year of life – supporting psychomotor development and preventing persistent primary reflexes
The impact of persistent primary reflexes on learning, behaviour, and concentration
Sensory-afferent integration – what it is and why it matters
Hypersensitivity vs. hyposensitivity to sensory stimuli
Identifying the root causes – recognising persistent primary reflexes through a child's behaviour and movement patterns
Understanding fosters respect and trust
